Hydrotherapy Pool | YMCA Jerusalem

Detailed planning for the conversion of the historic Jerusalem YMCA pool into a modern hydrotherapy facility. The planning process was accompanied by thorough documentation of the ornate space, which features mosaics, frescoes, bronze railings, and iron windows—all part of the original design by the architect of the monumental 1933 building, Arthur Loomis Harmon.

The planning process, led by Spector Amisar Architects, focused on finding solutions to meet the complex requirements and standards of a contemporary therapeutic pool while minimizing damage to the historic elements and preserving the character of the original space.
