Located at the edge of the Nachlaot neighborhood, this abandoned structure was, until 20 years ago, the renowned Ha-Pargod Theater. The building comprises numerous construction phases, dating from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century.
The building contains three main floors, several intermediate levels, and a large water cistern that gained fame as the Ha-Pargod performance space during its heyday in the 1970s–90s.
The file documents the development of the complex over the years, its unique architectural elements and spaces, and its history—from a family home to a public bathhouse and finally to the mythological theater. This documentation was prepared as part of a Jerusalem Municipality plan to establish a museum on the site.
